PROGRAMMING
High-Octane Horror. Zero-Stress Logistics
The world is heavy enough. Between the daily grind and the chaos of the news cycle, people come to conventions to escape. We use dark humor and high-energy interactive games to give fans an excuse to leave that stuff behind for an hour and laugh.
Our panels aren't throwaway sessions; they’re a place where the filters come off, the audience becomes the show, and for a little while, everyone gets to be “in on the joke.”
PROS AT CONS programming is designed to be Plug and Play or completely adaptable. You can view our panels below and plug them straight into your program… or we can discuss how to tweak them to make them meet your needs. We’re also always willing to discuss creating something brand new specifically for your convention.
What follows is a sample of some of the panels we've put on
at different conventions over the last decade and a half.
It is in no way a comprehensive list.

Hello, horror fan. I want to play a game. The rules are simple. In this horror-themed version of the ultra-popular Cards Against Humanity game, the announcer will read questions from the black cards and our panel of contestants will answer with their funniest white card. The audience will judge each round to declare a winner. There may even be opportunities for audience members to create a card for someone to play. (Audience participation highly encouraged)

Ever wanted to neck with Nosferatu? Do you fantasize about sharing body parts with Frankenstein's Monster? Ever wondered what The Invisible Man looks like without his clothes? Join us for a debate over horror monsters we’d like to spend the night with, which we’d probably shack up with, and who we’d rather leave buried for eternity. (Audience participation highly encouraged)

The only show where the audience becomes the twisted engine of storytelling chaos. You shout out the wildest nouns, verbs, and adjectives you can dream up, and we plug them into terrifying tales absolutely no one (including us) is prepared for. We read the finished stories aloud in all their unpredictable, spine‑tingling, logic‑defying glory. Part horror, part improv, all linguistic disaster. Step right up and help us create a monster of a story.

What truly defines a Creature Feature? Is it the practical magic, the scales, or something much darker beneath the surface? We're pulling back the curtain on cinema's most iconic entities to explore the blurred lines between beast and man. Get ready to debate the rules of the genre and challenge your assumptions about who the real monster is when the lights go down

Horror is inherently the greatest genre for social commentary. It preys on our fears, our biases, and our own self-doubt. Since the beginning of film, Horror has been used to get under our skin and into our minds. But this method can also plant the seeds of social change, allowing us to see that what we fear can often be overcome.
This panel was the foundation for the podcast TheNecronomi.com, which garnered over One Million Downloads during its four-year run. -
What makes us laugh does not seem like it should also make us scream. But while seemingly attempting to achieve opposite results, comedy and horror are intricately linked. Two sides of the same coin, humor and horror are strong on their own, but working together, they can create a marriage of unexpected twists and turns.

Movies used to be made for the big screen or IMAX. But some movies feel scarier if you watch them at home or even on your phone with headphones. Let's discuss HOW we watch movies, how it’s changing, and where we think the viewing experience might be heading.

All writers create some pretty bad things, especially when they're just starting out. And that's okay. Panelists sift through their slush piles of bad memories to share with you some of the most inappropriate, asinine, and hilarious things they wrote when they were getting started, and how those things helped them become the writers they are today.
